Here's another project update for the week:
Amata Kabua International (Majuro International) and surrounds are getting latest facelift: Majuro now has active AI road and boat traffic. Tinak (PK18) at Arno Atoll is complete with custom coral/sand runway, autogen and custom veggies and buildings, sounds and effects. The 3rd airport, Utirik (03N), just require custom runway and village terminal building modeling and should be complete soon. All photoreal ground work on Bucholz AAF (PKWA) Kwajelein Atolls, Rongelap (PKRP), Kaben (PKBN), Enewetak Aux AF (PKMA), and Maloelap (3N1) are done.

Thanks, Syed. All 9 airports are within 900nm radius and stringed out at roughly 80nm (average distance) between hops so bring the beaver for some sightseeing. 8-)

Great shots. Nice to explore that kind of holiday, over there. In real world i will never visit that kind of islands. So that's the beauty of FSX. ;)

It is indeed a nice country to visit, Rob. I spent a week in Majuro on business in 1997 but did not get a chance to visit the other islands and atolls. The entire Majuro atoll and its outer islands are currently under threat from global warming and king tides. Sad to see it "sink" over the years as much of the country is now only 3 to 5m high in elevation. :(

Thanks Ken. Four airports now complete and five to go. Here a few more pics. The first 5 are Utirik's custom rwy and vegetation (grass and shrub), and Rongelap in the last 7. More custom vegetation including mangrove trees and rwy at Rongelap.

Btw, I slipped another 4 shots of Rongelap with the others just above. Despite the amount of custom vegetation icluding grass, I'm happy to report that the frame rates are excellent so far. All sliders including water effects are 100% to the right with no stutters. Test aircraft include Captsim's 727 and C130, Aerosoft twotter, and various default aircraft.
