I have just received 3 emails from
Raw Grit: PNG Bushpilot (Raw Grit) users asking if they were entitled to
EBT as free "upgrade" to Raw Grit.
Well, let me make it clear here from the outset so there's no misunderstanding. Firstly, lets sort out the semantics; EBT is not an "upgrade" to Raw Grit. If it is then it would simply sound like a fix for whatever is broken with Raw Grit. ...And, by extension, we would have simply called the upgrade Raw Grit built-2 or something to that effect. So no, EBT is not an "upgrade" to Raw Grit. It is a stand alone product with its own unique built and title. New customers can buy and run it independently without the need for Raw Grit as pre-requisite platform.
Secondly, since EBT is a stand alone product, it is marketed to both current and potential Raw Grit users, and new EBT potential customers. In that sense, it is an expansion pack, and by definition our second PNG scenery series set after Raw Grit.
Now who deserves a free EBT copy?
1. Customers who bought Raw Grit at higher price. If you bought Raw Grit between March 03 and March 18, 2009 at its initial market price of EURO23.99 then you deserve a free Pacific Islands Simulation product. I made that point succinctly clear at my website and various forums immediately after price reduction. So, if you bought Raw Grit between that timeframe, I require you to email me at
toksawe@gmail.com with proof of purchase and that includes your simMarket Order Number and full name (Credit Card name) at time of purchase.
2. Customers who purchased Raw Grit at a certain target date. This is our in-house incentive to customers who bought Raw Grit between March 19 and March 31, 2009. So, if you bought between that timeframe then you deserve a discount. However, considering the fact that we had by then developed a good standing and rapport with our loyal customers, we decided not to charge discount for any new Pacific Islands product following Raw Grit. Instead, we opted to give customers in that timeframe a free product. For those falling within that category, email me your simMarket Order Number and full name (Credit Card name) at time of purchase.
Finally, we are a two-men team fledgling business (brand-spanking new) and while our company mission is to make money from our products, we do not intend to misguide our customers both current and potential about what we offer or do not offer. If there is any misunderstanding, we apologize. If we made a mistake at all in our previous offering announcements that may have led any of you to believe you deserve a free EBT copy, we'll correct it. Bottom-line, we want you to be our long term customers and PIS fan.
